How long can my video be?
Choose a video up to 2 minutes and 100 MB. Choose a time range to process. VidNeat keeps the sound in that range. If your clip exceeds either limit, trim it or choose a smaller file.
Is the video background remover free?
New accounts get 60 credits for a trial. Use them on a short clip and download the result without an added watermark.
Does my video leave my device?
The background remover processes the original footage and audio on your device.
Do I need a green screen?
A green screen is optional. Use a well-lit clip with a clearly visible person and a simple background.
Can I download a transparent video?
Choose Transparent WebM for a file with an alpha channel. Some players display transparent areas as black. For wider playback support, pick a background color and export MP4. Read the export guide.
Which browsers and videos work?
Use Chrome or Edge on a computer with hardware acceleration. An SDR MP4 is recommended. See Help for video compatibility tips.
Will hair, hands and objects look perfect?
Fine hair, fast motion, people in the background and hand-held objects can be difficult. Try Detailed mode and check your preview. The tool cannot select one person from a group.
